Martin Medáček

Martin Medáček has grown up in autocross environments since his childhood. He rode to the races with his uncle Jiří Medáčkem and helped with the preparation of buggies already when he was a teenager.
Martin started as autocross driver in Junior Buggy the same as Roman Kalvoda. He went to a few races of the Czechoslovakia championship 1993 and finished in the 17 place of overall classification.
Martin transferred in 1994 from Junior Buggy to Buggy D3A 1600, where he started with a custom design buggy powered by prototype engine Škoda 720 located in front of the rear drive axle. He placed in 11th place in Czech Championship.p>
He remained faithful to Škoda 720 engine in the following years. In 1995 Martin won 7th place in the Czech championship with his last Buggy with one driven axle.
Between 1996 and 2000 Martin raced with four wheel drive buggy with a frame by Marek Kalenský. He gradually switched to an 8 valve VW engine with mechanical fuel injection.
In addition to his drivers activities Martin even managed to work as mechanic in a team for Petr Turek, at whose side he spent several seasons in the European Championship.
Martin Medáček started with a buggy with a frame by Roman Kalvoda a VW engine from season 2001.
With this car he won 8th place in 2001 Czech Championship and 7th place in the 2002 season.
The best spot Martin Medáček reached was in 2003, when he placed in 6th in the Czech Autocross Championship.
Martin has worked on our team as chief mechanic since 2003.
